Writing & Publishing Enrichment is the two-year introductory course designed for 7th and 8th grade students who have an interest in and talent for writing. Students explore the beauty of words and phrasing via multiple literary genres. Coupled with ample opportunity for students to free-write, structured writing assignments help students develop their skills and talent.  

Throughout the school year, students draft, edit, and rewrite with the goal of publishing their best work in an end-of-the-year literary anthology.

Each autumn over the course of several classes, students participate in the annual Lincoln Park Writers Series designed as an opportunity for middle school Writing & Publishing majors to work with professional writers.
